Upon selection for the Collective Leadership Initiative (CLI), participants embark on an immersive learning journey. The journey starts with a week long Foundations program, each program catering to different community needs.

Connection

​​​

  • Weekly Coffee Chats with other CLI Community Members to connect and share a discuss common challenges and practices

  • Monthly 60 minute Lunch-N-Learn Webinars to engage in interactive learning virtually 

  • Invitation to four 60 minute Speaker Series that highlights new and innovative practices in health 

  • Access to the CLI Community Partnership network for ongoing support including advisory boards and mentors

  • Community Pop-Up Socials across Colorado to build connection and reinforce collective learning in a fun and refreshing space

Hands-On Learning

  • On-demand leadership coaching

  • Experiential activities to practice and apply new knowledge that focus on your local community

  • An Action Learning Project to complete with a project team or a Key Leadership Challenge to complete individually over the course of the journey

  • Programs delivered by a world-class facilitation team

  • Senior Leader Roundtable Discussions to discuss challenges and practices in leading organizations

High Quality Resources

  • Personality assessments that increase self-awareness and leadership effectiveness

  • A dedicated, small group to work on a common health equity-related challenge

  • Learning guides and toolkits to extend the learning beyond the classroom

  • Resource Library that includes helpful tools, research, experiential activities and other aids that support leadership development and learning

  • Access to leading experts who are actively engaging in health equity solutions 

All Programs Include:

There is no cost to participate in these programs; all program-related fees and expenses (including travel, meals, and lodging) are covered. 

Program Overview

Created for experienced leaders in community-based health organizations who are looking to grow personally, expand their impact, contribute to health equity in their communities, and "breakthrough" current challenges. 

Application Due: January 16, 2026

Program Onboarding: 

February 16 - April 3, 2026

Foundations Week: 

April 26 - May 1, 2026

Mentor Commitment: 2-3 hours every other week, from July 2026 to July 2027

Created for emerging leaders in community-based organizations who are shaping the policies and advocacy efforts that drive health equity forward.

Application Due: February 6, 2026

Program Onboarding: 

March 9 - April 24, 2026

Foundations Week: 

May 17 - May 22, 2026 

Project Commitment: 2-3 hours every week, from July 2026 to July 2027

Open to emerging leaders of Colorado's Southeast rural counties who are working to expand access to health and opportunity. 

Application Due: February 20, 2026

Program Onboarding: 

March 23 - May 8, 2026

Foundations Week: 

May 31 - June 5, 2026 

Project Commitment: 2-3 hours every week, from July 2026 to July 2027

Open to emerging leaders of Colorado's Northeast rural counties who are working to expand access to health and opportunity. 

Application Due: March 13, 2026

Program Onboarding: 

April 13 - May 29, 2026

Foundations Week: 

June 21 - June 26, 2026 

Project Commitment: 2-3 hours every week, from July 2026 to July 2027

Created for community activists and advocates who stand at the front lines for Colorado's underrepresented communities.

Application Due: March 27, 2026

April 27 - June 12, 2026

Foundations Week: 

July 5 - July 10, 2026
